Angela Bacares is the wife of British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch, who remains missing following a tragic yacht accident off the coast of Sicily.

The incident occurred on August 19, 2024, when the luxury superyacht Bayesian sank after encountering a severe storm near Palermo.
Angela Bacares, 57, was among the survivors rescued from the wreckage. Her husband Mike Lynch and their 18-year-old daughter, Hannah Lynch, are still missing.
The yacht, which was also carrying a group of associates, had a total of 22 people on board, including 10 crew members and 12 passengers.
Angela Bacares is known for her involvement in the cybersecurity sector through her stake in Darktrace, a prominent UK-based firm co-founded by Lynch in 2013.

As of now, Angela Bacares is recovering from her injuries in a wheelchair while she waits for updates on her missing family members.
