EC Reacts To Claims That Jean Mensa Has ‘Run Away’ To The United States After Messing Up Figures And Declaring Akufo-Addo As President-elect

The Electoral Commission of Ghana has reacted to claims that its Chairperson, Jean Mensa, has run away to the United States after messing up figures and declaring President Akufo-Addo as the winner of the 2020 Presidential election.

The above was alleged by Ghanaian US-based political commentator, Kevin Taylor of Loud Silence Radio and TV Network while reacting to the alleged electoral fraud.

According to the electoral commission, their boss, Jean Mensa, is still in Ghana and working and that all those claims should be rubbished.

The EC on its verified Facebook page wrote;

“Mrs. Jean Mensa, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, as well as all the Commissioners are at post discharging their legally mandated duties.#LETTHECITIZENKNOW“.
