A Wendell man who had been missing since March 17 was found Sunday evening, according to his sister and the Raleigh Police Department. Thomas was engaged to Julia Pearce and the couple had three children together.

Father of three found dead after he had been missing for a while at New Bern Avenue According to Raleigh Police, 30-year-old Gregory Joseph Thomas, of Wendell, was last seen on March 17 as he left home to go to work in Raleigh. However, Thomas never arrived at work. His family, coworkers and friends became concerned after he didn’t show up for work at Comfort Monster Heating and Air and no one could get in touch with him.
Gregory Thomas’ sister posted to Facebook early Monday morning that her brother was found and identified in the woods near the intersection of New Berne Avenue and Interstate 440. On Monday morning, Raleigh police confirmed the news.
