Peter Okoye was born on November 18, 1981, in Jos, Nigeria to Josephine and Mazi Moses Okoye. He is the half brother of Paul Okoye who is also doing music. Peter and his brother Paul began their St.Murrumba secondary school. It was at this school the brothers joined the music and drama club where there started singing and dancing.
