Tony Allen popularly known as Tony Allen was born on 11th January 1982). He is an American former professional basketball player.

He was nicknamed ‘The Grind father’, Trick or Treat Tony, and Gucci. He made his debut NBA appearance on 3rd November 2004. Tony is a six-time member of the NBA All-Defensive Team. In 2008, he won the NBA championship with the Boston Celtics. Tony Allen attended Crane High School, Chicago where he played alongside fellow NBA player Will Bynum.
At Butler Country College, he averaged 16.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.8 steals in just 32 games in 2001. Following this, He was named Second Team All- Jayhawk West Conference and the Jayhawk West Freshman of the Year. He plays both the shooting guard and small forward positions. Tony Allen has three siblings; Ebony, Dominique, and Ryan. He is the son of Ella Ellen.

Tony Allen Controversies
In November 2005, Allen was brought to trial three times due to an aggravated battery following a fight which led to a shooting in August 2005 in Chicago. He was however found not guilty at trial in April 2007.
