Maj. Eric “Adam” Ewoldsen, a soldier found unresponsive in a parked car on Fort Bragg on Friday, was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to a statement from Fort Bragg’s US Army Special Operations Command.
Officials say Ewoldsen, 38, was pronounced dead at Womack Army Medical Center.

Ewoldsen was a native of Greer, South Carolina, and entered the Army in 2007 as an infantry officer, according to the USASOC.
